Console Code: Reduce Dragon Shout Cooldown Time

likeabirdintheskyrim:

Did you know that you can actually do that, reduce the time it takes for your Dragon Shout to cool down? Sure, in the earlier levels it doesn’t matter as much–an Amulet of Talos and some cheap Shouts, and you never even worry about it. Then you get Storm Call and Odahviing, and the game changes entirely.

To reduce your cool down time by using a console command, first open the console with the ` button, then input:

player.setav shoutrecoverymult <multiplier>

The default for “multiplier” is 1, so if you instead put in 0, you’ll get an instant cool down. If you change the values higher (because you’re insane or just love a good challenge), it will make the cool down longer.

Play on playas!

When Julius Caesar was kidnapped by pirates, he laughed in their faces, raised the ransom, and sent his men to collect enough silver to pay it. While he waited, he won them over (despite treating them as minions) and gained so much trust that they didn’t believe it when he said he’d come back to kill them all. He later captured them, got his silver back, cut their throats, and had them crucified. Source
